The GDP of Da'an district in Zigong City, totaled 22.65 billion yuan in 2018, up by 7.9 percent year on year, according to official figures released on March 26.
Its total investment in fixed assets and its public budget revenue totaled 12.56 billion yuan and 428 million yuan, up by 18.4 percent and 18 percent respectively year on year. The annual per capital disposable income of urban and rural residents reached 34,056 yuan and 15,522 yuan respectively, up by 8.4 percent and 9 percent year on year.
In 2018, Da'an district improved the integration of its cultural and tourism industries. It received 7.2 million tourists during the year, and its tourism revenue hit 6.2 billion yuan. The Shenhai Well in the district featuring salt production in ancient times was listed as a National 4A Scenic Spot.
The district also stepped up investment and its efforts to attract talent by holding various fairs. A total of 36 key projects were signed during the whole year.
