Private economy booms in Da'an District, Zigong City

The added value of the private economy in Da'an District, Zigong City, hit 13.71 billion yuan in 2018, according to a conference held in the district on March 29.

There are now 3,085 private enterprises across the district, accounting for 94.28 percent of the total figure. In 2018, the private economy contributed to 60.53 percent of the GDP in the district, according to the conference.

Da'an District attracted a capital inflow of 15.56 billion yuan from outside Zigong city last year, up by 21.56 percent year on year. A total of 36 key projects were signed during the whole year, six of which can bring an investment of over 1 billion yuan each, while another 29 can bring an investment of over 100 million yuan each.

The industrial added value in the district totaled 25.5 billion yuan, up 16.71 percent year on year. The import and export volume of the district totaled 1.62 billion yuan, accounting for 49.77 percent of the total figure in Zigong. The growth rate of the added value in service industry reached 9.5 percent, the highest among all the districts and counties in Zigong.
