Unmanned Aircraft Industry Development and Investment Conference held in Zigong

The Unmanned Aircraft Industry Development and Investment Attraction Conference was held in Zigong City, Sichuan Province, on Dec. 21, during which experts and businessmen discussed the development of unmanned aircraft.


A total of 15 projects with a planned investment of 10.1 billion yuan are being established in the Zigong Aviation Industrial Park.

The China Mobile Chengdu Industrial Research Institute will launch a 5G demonstration application project at the park, which is the first 5G network unmanned aircraft application test, and R&D base in Sichuan Province.

The G40 aircraft R&D project signed between Zigong Aviation Industrial Park, Inner Mongolia General Aviation and the Australian Foxcon Aviation and Research Co., Ltd. will turn the park into an aircraft production base in the near future.

Zigong has stepped up industrial chain development of drones over the past few years covering research, development, testing and production and the aggregation effect is beginning to take shape.
