A total of 75 projects relating to industrial development, infrastructure construction, improvement of people's livelihoods and management of social undertakings started construction in Sichuan province's Zigong city on July 29.
Among them, 32 related to industrial development with a total investment of 8.16 billion yuan; 20 related to infrastructure construction with a total investment of 3.56 billion yuan; 22 involved improvement of people's livelihoods and management of social undertakings with a total investment of 2.33 billion yuan. Finally, one of the projects involved real estate development, with a total investment of 970 million yuan.
With an investment of 250 million yuan, the Zigong Hengpai Metal Container Manufacturing project is set to be built into a specialty metal wrapping manufacturing base that will serve Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan provinces. Its construction mainly includes a 12,000-square-meter manufacturing shop and production lines and a 3,000-square-meter warehouse, as well as office buildings, canteens, and dormitories.
