Lu Deming Memorial Hall opens to public in Zigong

The Lu Deming Memorial Hall commemorating the life of a celebrated member of the Chinese revolution, located in Ziliujing District of Zigong City, opened to the public on September 25. With a construction area of 2,400 square meters, the hall has three floors featuring an exhibition hall, conference rooms and other facilities. Lu Deming was born in Zigong in 1905 and served as the chief commander of the Autumn Harvest Uprising in 1927. In order to cover the revolutionary troops to break out of an enemy encirclement, he sacrificed his life at the age of 22. He contributed much to the Chinese revolution and the founding of the Peoples Republic of China. [Photo/China.org.cn]
