The sixth Zigong Classics Recitation Competition was held in Zigong City, Sichuan Province, on September 25. A total of 14 adolescent and adult teams took part, combining recitation with dancing, music performances, shadow boxing and other art forms. Before the arrival of the traditional Chinese Mid-autumn Day, falling on October 1 this year, the competition focused folk customs and distinctive cultural features related with the festival.
