The Neijiang-Zigong-Luzhou section of the newly built Mianyang-Luzhou high-speed railway was put into operation on June 28. Upon its completion, the Sichuan cities of Zigong, Luzhou and Neijiang entered the "High-speed Rail Era" as they are now connected with China's high-speed rail network. The new part of the network forms a half-hour transportation circle in southern Sichuan and a one-hour transportation circle with Chengdu and Chongqing. An opening ceremony was held simultaneously in the three cities. [Photo/China.org.cn]
