125 projects to start construction in Q2 in Zigong

A total of 125 projects with a total investment of 28.6 billion yuan will start construction in the second quarter of 2022 in the city of Zigong, Sichuan province, according to a project launching ceremony held on May 17.


Among them, 79 involve industrial developments thanks to an investment of 16.8 billion yuan, such as the Sichuan Chuanpi Beer and Beverage Production Project, the Changying Precision Lightweight Material and Structural Component Production Base, and the Zigong Aviation Industrial Park Drone Delivery Center. There are also 19 infrastructure projects with an investment of 5.9 billion yuan, including the Zigong International Inland Port Informationization Cold-chain Logistics Base, the urban infrastructure project of the Zigong High-tech Zone, and so on. Meanwhile, 24 projects with an investment of 4.4 billion yuan like a service center for the aged in Rong county, affordable housing in Ziliujing district, and treatment of Fuxi River in Yantan district will improve people’s livelihoods and social undertakings.

As the representative project of this quarter, the Sichuan Chuanpi Beer and Beverage Production Project occupies an area of 11.3 hectares and will be invested with 450 million yuan. The project is expected to realize an annual production value of one billion yuan and create job opportunities for 500 people after completion.
