The Zigong Fantawild Dinosaur Kingdom began to receive tourists in the city of Zigong, Sichuan province, on June 18.
An infusion of prehistoric dinosaurs and ancient Sichuan civilization, the amusement park incorporates interactive experiences, scientific popularization, entertainment, catering, and shopping. Using advanced technologies like AR, VR, dome-screen, and IMAX, a series of immersive interaction projects recreate dinosaur worlds and an ancient Sichuan with scenes of primitive forests, wetlands, marshes, volcanoes, and gorges.
The Zigong Fantawild Dinosaur Kingdom includes nine indoor high-tech projects, 30 outdoor entertainment projects, and hundreds of themed landscapes, restaurants, and shops. In addition, a themed performance entitled Bronze Sacrifice in the park displays the ancient Sichuan civilization at the Sanxingdui site, a representative Bronze Age culture in the ancient kingdom of Shu.
