A poetry recitation activity was held to commemorate the 102nd birthday of Jiang Zhuyun (also known as Sister Jiang, an underground member of the Communist Party of China and revolutionary martyr) and greet the opening of the 20th CPC National Congress, in Zigong city, Sichuan province, on August 19. Poems were read to extol the dauntless spirit of Sister Jiang and songs and dances were performed to represent scenes of Sister Jiang embroidering a red flag for the founding of the People's Republic of China.
