Zigong High-Tech Area named state-level IP pilot industrial park

The Zigong High-Tech Area was included in a list of state-level pilot industrial parks for building China's strength in intellectual property, which the China National Intellectual Property Administration released on August 29.


In 2021, the GDP of the Zigong High-Tech Area grew by 10%, and the investment in its fixed assets has increased with an average annual growth rate of 11.6%.

Over the past few years, the area has established 137 innovation platforms through collaboration with universities and institutes and has registered 795 valid invention patents and 3,200 valid rademarks.

Established in 1992, the Zigong High-Tech Area has developed into a manufacturing base for energy conservation equipment and new materials and a demonstration area for industrial upgrading, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
