Zigong Ocean World opens to public

Zigong Ocean World opened to the public in the city of Zigong, Sichuan province, with an opening ceremony held on June 28. Located in Zigong High-Tech Zone, the site covers a total area of 10,000 square meters, making it the largest marine themed museum in southern Sichuan. With 10 pavilions focused on such themes as rainforests, deep-sea organisms, polar exploration and seal performances, the museum is home to hundreds of varieties of marine organisms and over 10,000 fish.
