Chinese lantern show held in Israel

A Chinese lantern show featuring lanterns made in Zigong was held in Tel Aviv, Israel's second largest city, from Aug. 7 to 27. A total of 500,000 visitors appreciated lanterns during the activity. The event marked the first time that Zigong lanterns had been exhibited in Israel. Some 21 Zigong lanterns featuring Chinese dragons, pandas, and other traditional Chinese themes were showcased at a shopping complex near the Tel Aviv port.
