Rong county showcases flower tea at 13th Sichuan Int'l Tea Expo

Eleven flower tea enterprises from Rong county, Zigong city, Sichuan province, participated in the 13th Sichuan International Tea Expo, which opened in Chengdu, the provincial capital, on May 9.

Rong county's flower tea booth, spanning 320 square meters, showcased over 110 flower tea products from the county, along with cultural and creative ceramic pieces from the Rong County Pottery Creative Industry Center.

The exhibition allowed consumers to appreciate the beauty of tea and pottery while experiencing the distinctive cultural charm of Rong county. Known for its high-quality green and flower teas, the area has been a hub of tea production for over 2,000 years.

The county currently has 14,100 hectares of tea gardens and 45 tea processing enterprises, with an annual preliminary processing capacity of 35,000 tons and a refined processing capacity of 70,000 tons. Rong county's annual flower tea output stands at 4,000 tons.
