A large twin-engine unmanned transport aircraft, developed by Sichuan Tengden Sci-tech Innovation Co., Ltd., completed its maiden flight on Aug. 11 at Fengming General Aviation Airport in Zigong, southwest China's Sichuan province.

The aircraft has a 16.1-meter wingspan, 13.9-meter length, and 4.6-meter height. It can reach an altitude of 7,000 meters with a maximum range of 2,000 kilometers. The plane features a 12-cubic-meter cargo space and a 2-ton payload capacity, making it China's largest domestically produced unmanned transport aircraft.

The aircraft's high payload capacity, spacious cargo hold, easy loading, reliability, safety, and advanced automation are expected to boost China's air freight system and low-altitude smart logistics economy.
