The inauguration ceremony for the Zigong Low-Altitude Operations Management Service Center was held at the Zigong Aviation Industrial Park on Aug. 28.
During the event, the center unveiled its low-altitude supervision trial results, marking a significant step forward for the city's aviation sector. Additionally, the Sichuan branch of China Tower Corporation released plans for both the construction of the Zigong Low-Altitude Flight Management Service Demonstration Area and the initiation of drone applications, outlining a blueprint for the development of Zigong's low-altitude flight industry.
During the contract signing portion of the event, the Zigong municipal government signed a "Framework Agreement to Promote Cooperation in the Low-Altitude Economy" with the Sichuan branch of China Tower Corporation as well as a "Strategic Cooperation Agreement to Promote the Development of the Low-Altitude Economy" with the Sichuan branch of China Mobile Communications Group. Meanwhile, the Gongjing district government signed an agreement with the Zigong branches for China Tower Corporation and China Mobile Communications Group to collaborate on building the Low-Altitude Flight Management Service Demonstration Zone.
Currently, Zigong is also advancing the construction of a city-wide, low-altitude intelligent sensor network. This initiative leverages new technologies and service-oriented approaches to create a cloud-based platform that enables data access and analysis. The network is designed to serve various industries as a critical component of the low-altitude economy.
