The 2025 Sichuan Low-Altitude Economy Industry Chain Ecosystem Conference commenced at the Zigong Aviation Industrial Park, uniting key players across the province's emerging aerospace sector. A total of 293 leading low-altitude economy enterprises, 14 investment and financing institutions, 31 universities and research institutes and government officials from cities and prefectures across the province attended. The event aimed to strengthen cooperation, promote technology integration, and build a coordinated supply–demand platform for the regional low-altitude economy.

The conference offered a comprehensive overview of the low-altitude economy industry chain, where delegates explored upstream materials, components, communication, navigation, surveillance equipment, midstream UAVs and eVTOL aircraft and downstream scenario applications and management services. For the first time, the event presented a full-chain showcase of more than 200 competitive Sichuan-made products in the low-altitude economy sector. Over 20 products were presented through live demonstrations in real-world scenarios, highlighting progress from research and development to applications and services within Sichuan's capable full-chain sector.

Leaders from Chengdu, Mianyang, and Zigong, the province's three major low-altitude economy hubs, introduced their investment advantages and local business environments. The conference saw the signing of 19 cooperation agreements across four categories: industrial investment, fund partnerships, financial investment and product orders.

Momentum is accelerating across the industry. Over 50 major enterprises from outside Sichuan have joined the provincial supply chain. 40 large projects worth over 1 billion yuan each are underway, with total investment surpassing 50 billion yuan. Financial institutions have issued more than 19 billion yuan in loans and launched a 2-billion-yuan sub-fund dedicated to low-altitude economic development. Orders for over one thousand aircraft, including the AE200 model, and contracts worth hundreds of billions of yuan were secured. This marks significant industrial progress and also reveals how Sichuan is shaping a comprehensive industrial ecosystem.

During the opening ceremony, the newly established Sichuan Low-Altitude Economy Industry Research Institute received its official plaque. As one of the province's innovation platforms, the institute will play a leading role in integrating"scenario development, technology R&D, technology commercialization, operational services and investment incubation" across the full industry chain.

The conference also includes public open days, to boost public awareness and promote understanding of the low-altitude economy's achievements. By highlighting innovation, cooperation, and real-world applications, Sichuan aims to foster a supportive atmosphere for the continuous development of its low-altitude industry.
